And the people answered him not a word. God is all-wise, has all knowledge, is all-powerful and all-loving. Those are the reasons we should follow Him. There is no logical or rational reason to ever follow anyone or anything else. Psalms 111:10: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. Proverbs 1:7: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 9:10: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. 1 John 3:20: For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
